Garito Real Estate (GRE) is a privately held real estate investment company headquartered in Yonkers, New York that specializes in the acquisition, improvement, and management of value-add multi-tenant commercial real estate.
History
Four generations ago, James Garito emigrated from Italy and began selling cases of grapes to support his family. James then moved into the demolition construction industry planting the Garito flag in Yonkers, NY in 1937 where our HQ is still located. Throughout the years, we progressed from home demolition to large scale commercial demolition and site development projects covering multiple states and MSAs working with regional, national, and international clients. Garito now has moved into the real estate investment space with the same customer first values that has endured the test of time.

Sam is the Founder and President of Garito Real Estate and oversees the day-to-day operations of the portfolio's expansion. He is responsible for the company's growth initiative through investor relations, acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, debt financing, and third-party services. Prior to starting GRE, Sam held positions in the private equity real estate and construction management industries.
